How to find us
Threlkeld Quarry is situated opposite the village of Threlkeld, 3 miles from Keswick on the A66 in the direction of Penrith.
On approaching Threlkeld on the A66, follow the brown tourist signs to Threlkeld Quarry by taking the B5322, St John's in the Vale Road.
The Quarry is signposted and located less than a mile from the junction
It is possible to reach the quarry by public transport. West Coast mainline trains stop at Penrith. The Stagecoach X4 bus leaves the station hourly Monday to Saturday and 2 hourly on Sundays. Leave the bus at Threlkeld old post office. It is then a 25 minute walk across the valley to the Quarry
